It’s time for Plays ‘n Chips

0

Broadstone Players Theatre Company are getting ready for their much loved annual Plays ‘n Chips performances. These are evenings of one-act plays with the audience sitting around tables and being served a tasty supper in the interval. Supper is provided by Harlees of Corfe Mullen and is a choice of fish, sausages or veggieburger and chips, freshly cooked, quickly delivered and served after the curtain comes down on the first play. There is a licensed bar too.

Broadstone Players use these one act plays to encourage anyone new to the Players. This year they have several talented actors who have recently joined the group and who are set to delight their audiences, together with a number of familiar faces.

Due to the popularity of the evenings, Broadstone Players introduced an extra evening last year. This year they are adding yet another performance, this time a matinee.

Evening performances are on Friday 4th, Saturday 5th, Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September at 7.45pm. The matinee performance with a cream tea instead of supper is on Saturday 5th September at 2.30pm. Performances take place in Broadstone War Memorial Hall. Tickets are £10 including supper or afternoon tea, on sale at Broadstone News on the Broadway in Broadstone and at Wimborne Tourist Information Centre. They can also be reserved by phoning 01202 678449 or email to honsec@broadstoneplayers.co.uk.

Broadstone Players invite you to come and join them. They are looking forward to entertaining you.
