Look out for bright red lily beetles on lily foliage, catch them and remove and squash them if possible or water with Provado vine weevil killer. If you have sweet peas growing in pots, get then into the ground as soon as possible and tie in to supports. Dahlias and cannas can be planted out at the end of the month.
