Broadstone Community Lunch Relaunch

A gathering of over 20 representatives from Broadstone organisations including Schools, Churches, the Chamber of Trade, the Youth Centre, Neighbourhood Watch, Neighbourhood Forum and many others, took place on March 4th at Broadstone Methodist Church. The lunchtime event provided an opportunity to network for key stake holders in the community and certainly resulted in a real buzz of conversations.

As one participant commented, ‘the concept is very good as this allows ‘community leaders’ to meet other community leaders and to exchange views and ideas. I look forward to the next meeting’.

A similar event was very popular in the past and it seemed a good idea to see how a relaunch would work out. Given the success of the activity, it will be repeated in early July and early December, the precise dates will be confirmed shortly. There is an opportunity to share concerns and successes and work together for the benefit of our community. Representatives from any Broadstone organisation are welcome to attend.
